We could not keep our ReStores open without our amazing volunteers. Volunteers work side-by-side with staff with responsibilities including helping customers find what they need, taking donations and thanking donors, making sure the lights and houseware departments are organized and many more. We look forward to you joining us as we help Habitat without swinging a hammer.
Individual Volunteers
Individual registration is ideal for anyone looking to volunteer regularly, complete Homebuyer sweat equity hours or fulfill other non-court-related community service. Just head to our volunteer registration portal to find a shift that works for you! Please note: individuals seeking to complete court-ordered Community Service must register using the Community Service application below.
Group Volunteers
We welcome faith groups, community organizations, and others who want to make a difference together. Fill out our interest form and we'll be in touch soon with opportunities to get involved! If you are a Corporate group looking to sponsor a build day, please visit us online at habitatwake.org/sponsors
Community Service Volunteers
Community service volunteers completing court-ordered or attorney-recommended hours must apply through our online Community Service application. You'll need to upload court documents or a letter from your attorney that clearly states your charges. Once your application is reviewed, you’ll receive an email with next steps. Please note: Habitat reserves the right to decline community service applications based on the nature of the offense. All approved service takes place at our ReStores.
